The Weekly Challenge (“Challenge”) is sponsored and administered solely by LLAPPS LTD, Bulgaria (“Sponsor”), the operator of Mochi. Apple Inc. is not a sponsor of, responsible for, or involved in the Challenge in any way.
Each Challenge begins Monday at 12:00:00 PM and ends the following Monday immediately before 12:00:00 PM in the America/Los_Angeles time zone. Sponsor’s servers are the official timekeeper. The Challenge runs only while it is shown as active in the app and may be disabled by Sponsor.
Open Mochi during an active Challenge and sort photo cards using keep or archive. One server-verified swipe on one unique eligible photo asset earns one point. To reduce fabricated-photo abuse, a photo is eligible only when its Photos creation date is earlier than the start of the current Challenge. Photos created during the current Challenge, photos with a missing or unverifiable creation date, re-sorted assets, repeated decisions, malformed or replayed requests, events outside the active period, and rejected events earn no points.
Free participants can receive up to 100 verified Challenge points per Los Angeles calendar day. An active free trial or paid subscription enables unlimited legitimate swipes, subject to technical rate limits and these Rules. Subscription access may therefore allow more scoring opportunities, but does not guarantee a rank or prize. Entry remains available without purchase.
Participants are ranked by total accepted points during the active weekly period. Higher scores rank first. A tie is resolved in favour of the participant who reached the tied score first according to server time; any remaining tie is resolved deterministically by the participant’s opaque public identifier. The app displays the live top 10 and may display an authenticated participant’s current exact rank. Live ranks are provisional until the period closes.
Up to ten prize-eligible participants ranked 1 through 10 at closing each receive a non-transferable promotional Lifetime Pro entitlement for Mochi through RevenueCat. The approximate retail value is the app’s current Lifetime Pro purchase price at the start of that weekly period. There is no cash alternative, substitution, transfer, or sale of a prize, except Sponsor may provide an equivalent app entitlement if technically necessary. Existing Lifetime Pro users are not prize-eligible and do not occupy a winning place.
Eligible prizes are assigned automatically to the Firebase UID used as the participant’s RevenueCat App User ID. Participants are responsible for keeping that identity accessible. A promotional Lifetime Pro grant does not automatically cancel, refund, pause, or stop renewal of an existing App Store subscription. A winner who does not want an existing subscription to renew must manage or cancel it separately in Apple’s App Store subscription settings.
Sponsor may reject points, quarantine an account, withhold or revoke a prize, or disqualify a participant for automation, fabricated assets or gestures, request modification, replay, multiple identities on one device, tampering, reverse engineering, rate-limit evasion, abuse of trials or purchases, interference with other participants, or any conduct inconsistent with these Rules. Security signals include Firebase Auth, App Attest/App Check, one-time request tokens, duplicate-asset checks, device binding, server timestamps, rate checks, and RevenueCat verification. Sponsor may request reasonable eligibility or ownership verification before or after delivery.
Photos and videos are not uploaded for Challenge scoring. The app sends a challenge-scoped one-way asset fingerprint and limited event metadata, including the Photos creation timestamp, decision type, timing, participant UID, and hashed device identifier. Public rankings use an opaque weekly participant code rather than a name, email, raw device ID, or photo identifier. See the Privacy Policy for more information.
Sponsor may pause, cancel, extend, or modify a Challenge when fraud, outages, legal requirements, App Store or RevenueCat changes, or other circumstances compromise fair or safe operation. Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to preserve already verified scores, but is not responsible for events that never reach its servers. If a Challenge cannot be completed fairly, Sponsor may withhold prizes or determine results from uncompromised verified scores where lawful.
By participating, you agree to these Rules and Sponsor’s reasonable, final decisions about scoring, eligibility, fraud, and prizes, subject to rights that cannot legally be excluded. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sponsor is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from participation. These Rules are governed by Bulgarian law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence.
